IT'S NOT A TUMOR!!!!!

So, this baby just does not want to join the world! It's too depressing for him! I'm almost convinced that there is no baby in my belly, just a large tumor with a heartbeat! BUT...my doctor promises me that there really IS a baby in there, and he really does want to meet me and Donovan! I just know this kid is going to be huge and I'm really nervous about it. My due date is officially on the 10th and my doctor said today that he will induce on the 17th if I make it that far. Let's just hope the little guy decides to join us on his own shortly. I have been trying to take really long walks, drinking special tea, and just about every other trick in the book. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated at this point.

If I haven't had a baby by tomorrow (who am I kidding?), I will do another post about our little trip to Park City this weekend. It was fun and we were able to see some friends we hadn't seen in a while! More tomorrow!

I definitely don't recommend castor oil- bad idea!
With my last pregnancy I was told that fresh pineapple would work- I don't know if it's true, but I ate pineapple for a whole week and my water broke a week early. Red raspberry leaf tea won't put you in labor, but it will help tone your uterus to help during and after labor.
I'd give you the same advice my mama gave me, but quite frankly- you shouldn't put advice like that on a blog comment! ;o)
Good Luck! i can't wait to hear that you had your baby!

I can't believe he hasn't come yet!!! I want to see a picture of this little (hopefully ;)) guy. Good luck getting yourself to go into labor. :)

Sit in a rocking chair and rock like there's no tomorrow! I was told that when I was pg with Rachel, and it really seemed to work. I went into the hospital that night. With Andrew, I tried pineapple, special foot massages, the whole thing, and nothing worked! Good luck!

It's hard to be patient isn't it?! My first came on his own five days late, I kept thinking my water was going to break somewhere embarassing, but it didn't they still had to break it for me. I tried a lot of different things also, none of it worked, he just came when he was ready! I was so afraid mine was going to be huge also because about a month before he was due they told me I was on track for like a 13 lb baby!! He was only 7 lb 7 1/2 ounces. Hopefully your little guy won't be too huge!! Good luck and I hope he comes to meet you soon, it is so exciting!

Your womb must be quite the place if that little guy is takin' his time. All I can say is good luck. You'll do great and I'm so excited to see pics of him.

Hang in there! Waiting for a baby is the most miserable thing to do. I tried walking, spicy foods, etc with all my pregnancies and nothing really worked (except for with Aaron-I walked the mall for an hour on the day he was born - and he arrived in 23 minutes.) And as far as how big your little man will be - none of the doctors ever predicted the correct size of my babies. Good luck!
